Hi folks
If anyone's after a set I've got mine stashed away in the roof of the garage not being used. I'd rather hand over in person if possible, or pass to someone to pass on if that ends up working, as I don't have the boxes still. Will be travelling along the M4 corridor over Xmas if that helps anyone Make me an offer  Adrian

Yep, everything required as an assembly, so bars and fitting kit and keys for the locks
They're a surprisingly easy fit on a D2 and come with torque limited allen keys (although I use my 1/4" torque wrench to ensure I don't over-tighten)

I don't think I'll make it to the Xmas meet, but could potentially sort something if someone's doing a Gatwick run before then? I'm travelling to Bristol Sunday, back Monday, then again on 27th.

Hi All,
Another great Forum experience, Adrian showed me how to fit Thule bats to car despite having a bike to rebuild and a child to mind!  We have dropped Son to continue starving in London (internship...  ) and at about 5 pm are in Grimsby Holiday Inn Express about to go out for a great curry!440 miles, 20.2 to gallon BUT LPG 50% of petrol ( if you buy right) so £60 in a luxury car, Barnsley to Gatwick, through London, up A1 to buy towbar, then to hotel... And I feel great! (One power-nap on the M11 services). The A8 is the best car I have ever driven for this type of work. One day you will own another... Robert

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions, ski hatch retrofit; extended leather. Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.). 2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one! (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!
