Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course.  (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Well it was a hazy sunny day and the god of weather was good to us all at Billing for Audis In The Park 5, it was good to see old friends and new, we finally amassed a line of 10 A8's and S8's in all including a few we hadn't seen before. Here's a group pic, but a warning to Brian - your "black cat in a coal celler" look is now available in a D3 version lol. . . . .

Sadly, one of my rear electric headrests failed while demonstrating the dashboard button that lowers them to Neil.
(He was in the relevant rear seat at the time, so I blame him!  )The motor still whirs away, much faster than the other one (which still works), but nothing moves. At least the headrest is down. I've found this which suggests a repair method, has anyone done this and/or have any observations? http://www.audiforums.com/forum/audi...-repair-74306/ Maybe I should start a thread in the relevant section?
