2002 S8 Suspension arms questions
hi all,
had an advisory after MOT that both sides front upper & lower arms had noted wear, though no excessive play--been scouting around and it seems if I want new rather than used they are only a dealer part? anyone shed more light please? i've had quote of approx 600/700 for parts and labour thanks! |

They are not a dealer only part. Bilstein and Mayle do replacements. I have just changed all 4 arms and the anti-roll bar 'c' link on my S8 and it has cost me less than £400.
It is a DIY,but not for the faint hearted. Check out GSF for the control arms. Also the sticky in this forum for a link to the Mayle catalogue.
