Default The Horn

Hello all, hope you have been enjoying the sun.

Hopefully an easy question. Where is the horn? Mine sounds like Noddy so am assuming either a weak connection or part failure.

I understanding asking is lazy but it sounds so bad I don't want to keep pressing it, to locate it!!!!

Sorry but thanks in advance!

its behind the front grille, between the radiator and the grille on 2 bars. Bumper off job on a D3 to change it. There are 2 horns and its likely that one has a bad connection or failed (one of mine had)
I just got a second hand pair and swapped them and all sorted now

My low tone started gurgling and eventually stopped.
Now I just have high-tone.
I need to get to the horn too and will replace both as I'd hate to have to take the bumper off.
Alternatively, considering a sythesised bullhorn and sounder...

Many thanks but I hope you didn't do that just to show me the location of the horns! I won't ask what happened but feel your pain! Helpful photo anyway!

From the sound of it, just my high tone is working, how annoying it is a bumper off job to resolve. Are there any other jobs I could complete whilst the bumper is off?

My swivel lights have stopped working so perhaps look at that? Hose down/de clog the externals of the radiators and coolers. I had to do that on my M6, 1/3 of the oil cooler was clogged with hay and dead wasps and I swear it was making it run hot!

Thanks all.

Luckily it's not mine! There's a cat C S8 bidding on ebay at the moment which looks well beyond repair to me.

Heard a newish Roller honk the other day. Sounded like a Noddy car. Hilarious
