D’oh! Only for D2s. Apologies. I will, one day, learn to read.

Quite a lot this year.
Mainly because I bought the engine and gearbox. Haven't bothered with any calculation yet. Still some parts left to purchase, I believe. I assume the gaskets etc for the ABZ engine is not identical to the AHC.
Buut... the weather... no work done lately...

Probably about £7k over the last 3 years. This year alone, rear bushes, rear callipers, flex break pipes all round, new front suspension uprights.

Hi Guys & Girls,
My expenditure outside of Tax, Insurance, MOT & fuel is as follows :-

New Battery @ £104
Timing Belt, tensioners, water pump, thermostat, gaskets @ £1113
Oil/water cooler pipe @£20.00 (labour in with timing belt)
4 x Brake discs/pads and 1 x rear brake calliper, plus fluid change @ £405
Repack 2 x Catalytic converters @ £900
New indoor car cover @ £180
Full car ceramic detailing @£650
Interior leather repairs @ £180

Total expenditure for 2020 @ £3552.
Worth every penny to keep this amazing vehicle in tip top condition.

It's really worth getting these cars on an agreed value insurance to save all the heartache when making an insurance claim.
Mine is insured with Carole Nash with an agreed value of £6000.
Premium for this is under £300 per year, mileage limited to 5000 miles, no hardship for these modern classics

Happy New Year to all Forum Members
Regards,
David

I'll get to find out in the next week. What started as £2.5k + of servicing / recommissioning has taken 14 months & grown somewhat. My current account may resemble a ghost town shortly.
