Default 12v power sockets not working

Just discovered that both 12v power sockets on my 51 D2 aint working

I know they are on seperate circuits & iv checked the fuses. Seems odd that both aren't working

Is this a common occurrance or an electrical gremlin that needs looking at?

Have you got the window child lock button on? For some reason that sticks in my mind as something for the rear socket.

Otherwise, if the fuses are both OK, then something else sounds wrong.

The rear is switched off when window lock button is pressed. Front one should be on all the time.

Are you trying the cig lighter or something else? Only reason i ask is the front one in mine did not work but will power sat nav ect, i thought the cig lighter had been lost and replaced by one not from the car maybe.
