Default Audi S8 32V Oil Filtration.

Hello guys!

I'm replacing the stock combined oil cooler and filter with a remote oil filter, that accepts a regular screw-on metal canister filter (using the 3,0 V6 30V filter).

Does anyone know which of the two holes in the cylinder block (figure 8) is the supply, as in top or bottom? I need to make sure the flow is going the right way through the remote filter head with the new metal screw-on filter.

I might use a sandwich-type coolant-fed oil cooler (as used on 2,8 V6 30V) or an air-to-air item, but that's not so much the issue right now. I just need to get the oil feed and return to the cylinder block right. I'm blanking off the coolant feed from the block with an aluminium core plug.

Thanks guys!
