Well what can I say.

It was an absolutely fantastic weekend.

The hotel was excellent, the company even better and the routes chosen to the venues were beautiful (even though we did see some of it twice . ).

It was great to see everyone again and to meet some new '8' enthusiasts.

Many thanks to Mike, Tony and Darren (sorry if I've missed anyone) for putting in the effort and making it a weekend I'll remember for a long time.

These are my contributions:

I think I have all the quarter mile runs the '8's did (25 vids in total to upload) which I'll finish off this week.

Enjoy!

Steve

Richard- I did one quarter mile run at 15.08 seconds 94.3 MPH and the second worst reaction time of 1.55 secs (I think Tony forgot he was racing!)

we all have our times apart from tony. i think he used his sat-nav to get down the strip and we lost him for about an hour. somebody said they thought they saw him driving through the field. he did return some time later and said didn't i do well

Was a wicked weekend Apart from me being unable to to understand basic instructions and missing most of the best bits (well all really) on Saturday, Sunday made up for it big style....

Bog standard low mileage A8 4.2 sport - here's my times:

Best:

15.03@93.95

The rest:
15.14@87.87
15.15@94.35
15.12@95.11

Arrived 30 minutes before everyone else (didn't follow Tony ) so got there in good time and managed to do a first run against a mini... (thank god I beat him...)

Was nice to see some new faces and old and really enjoyed it so thanks to Darren, Mike and Tony - looking forward to next years meet already

Oh, and thanks Steve for the video - your wife got me against you (6th and 7th down) so well chuffed.
