Unfortunately this years Yorkshire tour is not going to go ahead.

At this time we have 5 people who have said they would like to attend, but this is very much dependent on the time its held.

It is likely that it will cost at least £150 for each member to attend, and I feel that whilst I would dearly like to hold this event, that the cost to the members given the current economic climate, and the frequency of events held over the past few months, it is too much of an ask.

I hope that all of you understand the reasoning behind this unfortunate news, but I do intend to hold this event next year, and the planning I have already started to carry out will allow a longer lead-time upto the event, and therefore more planning for the members.

With that in mind, it is likely that I'll also be able to negotiate some decent accommodation prices, as well as discounts at each of the planned stops for refreshments/food.

Default Sounds good to me Tony

Disappointing but totally understand.

Now, how about that Yorkshire Meet to keep the interest flowing...?

Still up myself for just a mini-meet like we had last year - about 6 of us turned up and it was all right - met at a pub near Huddersfield, then drove up to a reservoir for a few photo's - 'twas a nice day!

Default Count me in

I'm up for it, mini meet, maxi meet, (not the cars) whatever, with the proviso no other commitments impinge.
Other commitments being insignificant things like the HOUSEHOLD MANAGER, work (occasionaly), Chilldren (actually their children). Yes I'm a granddad, and how weird that sounds. Erm, social stuff with friends, rellies, Holidays, Oversleeping and the dog ate my homework.

Default Yorkshire Meet

OK, lets get the ball rolling on this one. I was thinking a bit sooner than that, but if we're to be honoured with the Librarian, how about Saturday 7th November?
