Fog Lights
What bulbs are 2006 fog lights please?
Also any LED no error ones that are tried and tested?

H7 in your fogs.
To get decent output with LEDs you'll need a quality pair. Usually they come with a heatsink and/or fan attached and sometimes a ballast which makes installation not straightforward. I tried these H7 LEDs in the A4 with really good results. The flexible heat sink made fitting into the housing quite simple. No bulb out warning on the A4... sadly not tried them on the A8 yet... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331430472818

Matty, does your A4 have projector fogs? Are the HongKong specials actually as bright as the H7s?
Philips is making a specially designed LED bulb for fogs which virtually turn any reflector into a sharp-cutoff fog lamp if I understand correctly. USD$150 for a pair but a 3-year warranty... I dunno... Making the HELLA 100W bulbs look more attractive (at $10/each)! Regards from the colonies, Tom

I tried the above LEDs in the projector dipped beam and reflector high beam. I can't measure their output but visually they are an upgrade over halogen.
