Hi guys after a bit of a spirited drive recently in the S8 i noticed brake fade, and crapped myself basically,so was wondering if i were to upgrade what route would be best?Ceramic?
Or is there any other options?cheeRS.

Why don't you upgrade the pads first?

See if you can get a set of Ferrodo DS2500 pads. Not seen a bad review of them yet. It's what I'll be fitting when the new calipers go on my car.

If the new pads don't work I suppose ceramics are the next step but fook me they're expensive.
You could always look aftermarket. AP Racing and such may do conversion kits.

You want the 390MM Six Piston Brembo RS6 V10 setup I had fitted to my car today - A8 Parts have the kit for sale, and it is bolt on to the D3 as far as I'm aware. The brakes DO NOT fade at all, and will stand the car on it's nose if need be. Before you splash out on all of that though - Try this:

Racing brake fluid, Try ATE Racing Blue or Motul RBF600.
Pads, The Ferodoo DS2500 as mentioned are good, Carbotech pads even better. What is the brake setup on the D3 S8 currently?

Pop some ATE Racing Blue fluid in and see how you get on mate, the brake upgrade is £2k+. If you're still not happy, more aggressive pads and then like me, the full shabaz.
