Default Better water cooler for 600+hp ?

I need a better water cooler for my Audi S8-97 with RS6 engine.

After 6 hard laps at the track the water temperature is 115-120 degrees Celsius.

Does anyone know if there is a A8/S8 cooler that cools better than the OEM cooler?

My radiator has dimensions:
Height [mm] 720
Width [mm] 440
Thickness [mm.] 43

I don't have the factory fitted answer for you but have you considered a custom rad?

Btw that's an amazing car, love the stance sitting on them slicks.

I'd say you'd be better looking at custom cooling, more expensive, but you'll probably get much better results.

If you're thinking oem Look for kit designed for 'hot country' cars - they have uprated cooling systems to cope with the hot weather, but also have the benefit of improved cooling in cool climates.

The UK C5 RS6 Plus for example had the 'hot country' build code to give it more cooling to cope with the extra power....

Also consider looking at kit for the D2 W12, I'm sure its cooling would be superior.

first thing to consider, if you havent already, is a massive thermostatic oil cooler. turbo's cars really abuse the oil and it gets superheated.

my track car has nearly 500bhp and without a big oil cooler it does the same as yours...

RS6 oem water cooler is smaller than my S8 cooler and for RS6 hot climate then they have 2 extra small water coolers behind IC's.

I can't find any size on the w12 cooler? part no: 4D0121251AJ

I have a BIG oil cooler:
Cooling Row Quanity: 45.00
Depth (inch): 1.5
Height (inch): 13
Width (inch): 11.5

Try these:

http://www.allisport.com/content/per...charge-coolers

Supposed to be very good at what they do and can make pretty much any size you need.
