Two of mine (fronts) have blown. Is it a control unit with a LED inside and a fibre optic light pipe or some kind of electroluminescent strip? I forgot all about it not working last time I took door cards off otherwise I would have investigated it. Which part are you replacing? Can it be repaired - maybe a brighter LED or red one would be nicer?

yea it has a separate control box inside the door card that the light strip plugs into not sure what has gone in mine the controller or the optic fibre light strip.

Thanks - is it an electrical connection from the control unit to the door card?
Is there an LED in the strip strip on the door?
