water in rear light
seems that there is water trapped in the OS 'boot key light' section.
the light is built with an outer and inner layer . and this is where the water is trapped. the boot is dry. before i jump and dismantle light to check, are there any wise words from members who have done this before re. repair or replace. cheers raj |

New one to me. But the lights are very easy to remove

It's probably the wiring grommet on the water drain channel of the boot lip on the off side, just under the boot lid. Water runs down the wiring into the light cluster. Hope this helps.

Possibly, though I've had water ingress problems in the boot lid and none has entered the actual light clusters.
I've resealed the grommet and also removed the 3 little black rubber plugs along the bottom edge to let water drain out.
