Default F1

Overall I think F1 has improved this season, I enjoyed yesterdays race.

Lots of shouting at the TV especially when Riccardo and Max came together...can you imagine the atmosphere on the Red bull Exec jet yesterday afternoon!

And then.....what on earth was Vettel doing?!?! I was gutted. I thought he'd have the maturity by now to know to keep 2nd in the bag! He does get a hot head sometimes doesn't he and he would be fuming that LH took a cheeky win and now leads the table.

I think I heard Christian Horner say they were travelling separately.
And they'd obviously already had a serious "debrief" to judge by the interviews.

But yes, a gripping race and the season is looking promising with 3 teams very close at the front, Maclaren looking a bit more useful (among others) though what has happened to Williams!

As for Vettel, that does seem to be his one main weakness and Hamilton may win overall because of it.

2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

I didn't catch it live so expected to skip a load of stuff watching on catchup, but sat through the whole thing, great race, pleased at Raikkonen finally getting a better car, although he's a little back from Vettel, be interesting to see how that plays out as historically Kimi gets better over the course of a year with the car, Vettel tends to get worse as he gets frustrated at an ebbing title challenge.

Lewis appears to have lost his mojo a little, would love to see what Fernando could do in that car

An excellent race. Kept us on the edge of our seats right up to the line. Christian Horner looked seriously pi55ed off. I heard that the Ricardo and Verstappen have been asked/told to go to the factory and apologise to the workforce. Which strikes me as a brilliant move.
So far its been difficult to fall sleep during any of the races.

I didn't catch the race, so don't know who's fault the collision was... But to put my patriotic blinders on has me musing about Aussie driver's being sabotaged by their teammates ;-)

Having taken a few years sabbatical from F1, I'm really pleased to see this season is delivering on some of the excitement of past years.

I only started watching because Sky offered me a deal if I got rid of the F1 channel and I couldn't do it, which made me realise I still have a passion for the sport. I'm glad I did now!

I haven’t missed a race since 1995 ( well I missed one on my honeymoon a few years back but I still listened on the radio ) but this is the first year since then that I’m not that bothered. Would like to see Hamilton take his 5th title but I’m very much in the “can’t really be arsed with F1” mindset at the moment
