What kind of 19's do you have Tony? Mine has 20's and I'm not so sure i prefer them over 19s, but they do have virtually new tyres on, so was gonna wait until the need replaced, but you never know

The 5-spoke ones too, the flat ones (is it Canton or something).. so will stick with them at the minute

They come with Bridgestones on too, that have a good 4mm+ on them

Hi Tony
My apologies I have only just seen your post, I have been away working and only have access on the phone so possibly missed it.
Things have moved on and I have replaced all four tyres and they were getting near the limit and I had a constant slow puncture which was driving me mad. This turned out to be a cracked alloy! with two hairline cracks on the edge of the rim where the bead sits ! I have just had this one tig welded/repaired to a good standard by someone who knows what he's doing and will keep as the spare for now.

I only really need one decent five spoke with the correct ET of 44 and I'm sorted tbh. So I have been searching for one everywhere I can without luck. The majority seem to have bee produced for the RS6 that are floating around for sale.
Condition isn't the concern, providing it's not cracked or buckled, as I can get it refurbed easy enough. I currently have a slight buckle in the rear o/s which doesn't seem to vibrate through the car but I would like to know I have four decent rims on the car.
Next time a buy a car I might take my trolley jack and try the wheels as this has plagued me since buying the car last year!
All the best Glyn
