Default Suspension settings times

Hi.
Is there an acceptable time stipulated for suspension movement from lift, to dynamic?
If the compressor is on its way out, what are the symptoms?

If the compressor is dying you can expect any or all of

1. Hearing the compressor working perhaps with a light knocking noise
2. The green low suspension light on more often even if in Comfort mode
3. Lift setting greyed out indicating there isn't enough pressure to raise the car
4. The system labouring to raise the car from Dynamic upwards.

Rebuild kits are available and usually refurbish the compressor nicely.
