Annual Meet 2018: Outline Intinerary

Saturday 2nd June:

Depart the Durker Roods Hotel: 10:15 am

We have a lot of sightseeing and venues to fit in so please be ready to leave the hotel by 10:15 am at the latest



Arrive at Treak Cliff Cavern: 11:30am

Treak have agreed to reserve their entire car park for us but it is quite small so please park as close together as possible.

We should fit most of the cars in if they're closely parked (about 15 cars in the centre and another 6 or more each side). Additional free parking is available on the road opposite (not reserved).

Anyone not wanting to have a tour of the cavern may wish to visit Castleton village instead (~1 mile away). Please join us back at Treak before we depart if you do.

Depart Treak Cliff Cavern: 1:00 pm




Arrive at Biggin Hall Hotel: 1:50 pm

The hotel have agreed to reserve all of the parking in front of the hall for us.

We will be stopping here for afternoon tea (£10/head).

Please let us know if don't want afternoon tea or if you have any special dietary requirements so that we can notify the hotel in advance.

Depart Biggin Hall Hotel: 2:50 pm




Arrive at Tissington Hall: 3:00 pm

We will be given a tour of the hall (hopefully by Sir Richard FitzHerbert).

The parking details are still being finalised but we should have a reserved spot in front of the hall.

Depart Tissington Hall: 4:30 pm

Eyam (aka the 'Plague Village')

Hathersage

Ladybower Reservoir (Returning via Snake Pass)

Sunday 3rd June:

Depart the Durker Roods Hotel: 10:30 am



Arrive at the Carding Shed (inc. The Oil Can Cafe) and IK Classics: 10:55am
