spoke to the local Audi parts department to get a new pair of top pinch bolts to get them in preparation for a new set of top suspension arms. Little heads up D2 owners, the bolts (which have a tendency to seize) are no longer available from the dealer parts network. Indeed I was informed several of the front suspension bits are no longer stocked and are in effect obsolete
so anyone planning any unbolting might want to get on the hunt for some ASAP before all the old stock is gone. There are 2 less out there now, I just got them
I also bought several other of the suspension bolts......just in case....... we are becoming outmoded obsoletes
