Aluminium Silver with Cream leather
Basically Ive got 99% of the parts free with my recaro'sto convert from platinum to cream basically my question is yes or no in a aluminium silver car

Not 100% sure what you are thinking of changing, but with a silver car I would strongly prefer grey/platinum upholstery over cream/beige.

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions, ski hatch retrofit; extended leather. Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.). 2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation".  (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!  Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course.  (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Cream generally goes with a darker colour, not a combo that works in my mind

Yeah, have to agree, cream and silver wouldn't look right.
Have to admit, I find this quite amusing ... blokes discussing colour coordination! Funny thing is, (and I bet I'm not alone here), ask me about clothes, wallpaper or soft furnishings and I find it impossible to even form an opinion, let alone know what colours look good together!

The only reason I'm considering it is because they were free and it's going to cost more than the car is worth to get the seats recovered and I'm not. Incident in dyeing them myself and can't find anybody else to do it , I would prefer to keep Platinum myself

with cream seats, go to your local car paint shop and get them to spray all your fittings, ie fake wood stuff, door inserts with buttons, piano black (some extra layers of clear coat?)
This is what I'm going to do with mine. The current wood and cream painted plastic just doesn't go with cream leather as well as piano black, french polish type look.

Found a company that can supply a kit to dye the leather , that said the seats are currently on fleabay , if they don't sell they are going in and will get a colour change some time this year

imo cream in silver is not going to look good. Different, yes, not good.
If you're going to change, put black in. Black interior on silver, looks good. Silver is a safe exterior colour, and commands a safe, preferably contrasting interior. If you want a bold interior, you need to start with a bold exterior. e.g. the red interior looks good on black paint, but (imho) doesn't look half as good over avus silver.... Cream interior goes well with blue, green, black..... So, if you want it to look good, don't do it. If you want it to look unique. crack on...
