Default Condensation in headlight

Bloody car.

Right, any ideas what could be the issue here?

I am guessing if I just dry it out it will reappear?

You will have to check all the seals are in good order and that there are no cracks anywhere. Clean and unblock the ventilation ducts.

Is this a recent problem with the cooler nights?

Also if you do get the light out the car put in a warm dry place for a while, or even the oven on a really low temperature just to make sure all the moisture that had got in is gone.

Not had the car long, but yes, seems to be the last week.

Is it a headlight off job to check everything then?

Not sure of the access without looking, but you may struggle with the temps dropping to clear the moisture properly without taking it indoors, it's a bumper off job too unfortunately, I forgot that silica gel might work though, leave a decent sized bag in an unobtrusive place in the headlight for a week or two should hopefully dry it out properly

With other cars, I have put A4 paper on the lights and left them on with a battery charger connected and the rear covers removed. They get really warm. I tried it with black card one and they got too hot so white paper is best.
I put big bags of silica gel in my lamps. I got them from a camera shop on ebay. they are about the size of a packet of KP nuts from a pub, not the little sachets you get with a pair of shoes etc.. They do seem to have helped but you need to add them when already dry as a preventative measure rather than as a fix..
100g IIRC
