Default A8 Pub

With all the banter that happens in threads, I thought it might be nice to have one thread for banter and other random items.

Thought the title might sum up the general idea.

See what happens.

Afternoon and welcome to the pub.
Flap caps, pipes, sandals with socks are all welcome.

How many of you are going to GTI International this year?

Well tonight I spent the main part of the evening dragging the remainders of a shell of a 1972 beetle from a garage on to a recovery truck, from Bathgate to Airdrie and back off and into a garage.

And it rained
Lots

And there was in front axle on the beetle.

Anyone have a better evening?

I had a 12hr shift trying to fault find problems with a ROV survey junction box.

Not a great day TBH as the ship was waiting to sail and couldn't until we got the offending box working as it was critical to the job.

Never pleasant when everyone breathing down your neck asking is it working yet, were waiting on you.

Todays going much better though, getting paid to surf the net and type drivel on here

Morning lads,

I sat on the Xbox last night till about 2200 then collected the wife to be from work.
Today is my friday and the last day of being a unmarried man.

Looking forward to tomorrow.
Going to be interesting to see who don't turn up and waste my money cause of it.

Delboy, I know that feeling.
Sat in a store with the manager breathing down my neck wondering when his tills/server will be working so he can open the doors.
It goes a lot slower if you rush me or stand that close!!

I'm kind of looking forward to fitting a new kitchen and bathroom but not the painting or decorating side of it.

Morning Gents

It's a lovely Pub I have to say, and people are very nice, I like it

About the decor stuff, thankfully I have finished recently full refurb of kitchen and bathroom, well, the 'guy' did it, but I had to wallpaper the kitchen and part bathroom , HATE WALLPAPERING

But, I've got a lounge to do very soon. Good points: Mrs does the wallpaper stripping, 'guy' will do the plaster, but bad point is that I will have to finish painting and all the decor, anyway

Last night I was tackling final jobs on the to do list before the trip to Annual Meet, fun fun fun,

But before that, I've had travel across London to a Pub, not A8 one unfortunately, but what a journey it was, no traffic like it was the end of the world i was the only and last standing man with A8 and all the traffic lights were green, I just could not believe,

Spent some time on selecting some new tunes for the long journey

Played with a Barbie set, no no, not what you thinking, with my daughter,

Watched a classic F1 Monaco GP before sleep,

Prayed about not falling a sleep behind the wheel on the way to SCO, I absolutely HATE motorways ,

I really hope my second driver will call me tonight with good news,

Fact: cousin asked me once to drive with him to Germany (2nd driver) and I said of course mate, you can count on me Not funny but a fact, I was woken up behind the wheel on two out of two occasions, first after 45min andthen after an hour of driving. After second time he didn't want me to drive anymore ,
...yes, I almost craPPPed my pants,

SCOTT, CONGRATULATIONS !!!!
I'm sure you know what you doing !?!?!?! ,
If you do, I wish you and your future wife all the very BEST, loooong and very happy marriage, lots of new A8s in the future, beautiful kids which would absolutely love Audi's, plenty of cash, happiness and bold patch and viagra free life in about 10-20 years ,

To Scott and his Wife

PS. See attached
