Default Door soft coding.

Has anyone got a soft coding figure for driver and passenger door on an d3 s8 please.
Both of mine are soft coded the same which seems odd to me.
Could be why my soft close is not working. The car thinks it ai t there.
Cheers muchly.

Just the fronts need coding? Use the same value from the rear doors as usually they're all the same.

I assume so mate.
I added the values together for the fronts for what they have but the figure comes out different to what is coded currently.
I didnt look at the rears to be honest.
Though wont they be different because the rear doors wont have the child lock buttons or mirror adjuster or passenger seat memory but they do have the side blinds.
So really.only the 2 rears should be the same in my head. The fronts should have different values surely?

It is more likely though that the micro switch is goosed in the door latch stopping the soft close working, just done my driver door recently

Can you replace the microswitch or is it a whole new unit?

I replaced the whole thing because couldn't see easy way to get it apart and didn't want to be left with car with no latch
