Post 40V and 32V Intake manifold service and repair

STICKY PLEASE 
I’m sure many of you know about the problems with the intake manifolds on the A8s Over some time I have been developing kits to repair them new bushes ect and PTFE parts that offer a smother action and less prone to failing I’m now pleased to announce that I will now offer this service to all forum members

Simply put you send me your manifold and I will turn it around in 7 working days and have them back to you looking fresh and fully functional its £100 + postage to members

A Full manifold is 12kg with bellows and oil vapor recirculation valve intact and is £25.00 postage for 24hr currier with insurance tracked and recorded. So what do you get for your money then...?

Full strip down and mild acid bath
Degrease oil breather system
Repair intake flap system
Replace internal lubrication seals for flaps
New 0 rings
Fully reassembled and Vac tested to ensure it’s in perfect working order

And if required replace Hella vac pod at cost to customer
Restore some lost torque and regain some lost ponies
Give me a call for more info 01341251267

I have plenty of spares in stock only difficult bits to get hold of are the Hella Vac pods but I’m looking into a supplier

A couple of photos before the acid bath and after I will take a picture of a fully re assembled manifold later and upload so you can see what it’s like but for now hears a few photos of the brake down and some of the parts ect
Before

Acid bath

And after

Just send the complete unit in a box like this

And this is the torque/ power chart and diagram

Will upload a fully finished unit asap

No it isn't, sorry. This is a legacy post from a discredited forum member. I will lock it now.
