Westfalia towbar, JUST the swan neck WANTED
Does anyone know where I can get one, or have one lying round? I'm wondering if (a westfalia) one for another make of car would likely fit?
(I know it's a long shot) Thanks in advance

I think I have one in the garage from my old allroad, I also used it on my D3 (had to have a clean one and a greased one for different hitches), will dig it out tomorrow and open to offers. I'm just outside Manchester if you want to try it first

Thanks for that, they do indeed all look different. If one has the appropriate shape of bend to not fowl the bumper, and the necessary measurements to accommodate a trailer hitch I'll be more than happy.
I'd love to have the full OEM install on the car, but cannot convince myself it's worth the price for the occasional use I need it for. Annoyingly there was a chap on eBay who advertised a new Westfalia A8 swan neck bar earlier in the year. £39 BRAND NEW. Didn't sell. Not one bid!

i have a factory fitted tow bar on my A8
not sure of the make, never needed to find out i will check tomorow and look at my swan-neck to compare with the other i have and take pics
