Thanks everyone I had a great time, it was great to meet you all.
I have never done a 1/4 mile run before, it was fun but very confusing at first. I was expecting a big column of lights as Americans do it, but there was just a simple traffic light that went straight to green, and on one run I bounced off the rev limited, the car changed into 3rd and I changed into 4th. Oops!
Darren beat us all (but they lost his time slip ), Guy had some amazing pipes, and there was a monster RS6 that Ben built.
All in all a fantastic day!
Architex mA8tey and Adrian thanks for the photos, they really tell the story of they day.

All my own work on the cleaning front in the end, and still more I could do - just ran out of time....at least its laid the foundations for keeping it looking that good. Need some new upper and lower grills though

Nice to meet you for the first time Adrian. Mike/Neil... Thanks for the lifts.
Its nice of you guys to still let me still hang out with you lot even though I drive a BMW. I have to say it was nice seeing a BMW diesel estate thrash one of your 4.2 A8s after all the mocking I get. Guy that exhaust sounds flipping awesome. That RS 6 was awesome, and I'm buying one very soon.

Don't worry Guy, even a perfectly healthy D2 S8 couldn't beat a 335D on a dry day, I can assure you.

True, but only one sound likes a tractor on speed and is found on every street in Britain.

I'd much rather be more exclusive and sonorous
