Ah, but you have to consider the servicing.

With its aluminium space-frame and Audi's 4.2 V8 engine driving all 4 wheels, the first generation R8 is really just a small back-to-front D2 S8. I reckon MJ would find them a breeze to work on

Have you seen how many oil drain plugs they have? Soooo many undertray fasteners

That said, I would concede to having one in the workshop

I have also looked at R8's. Briefly.

The problem is, they are, well. Slow really......

The V8 is dreadful and whilst the V10 is quicker, its still very linear and dull.... Give me the cheaper, and far more fun of the twin turbo V10 RS6 any day.

+ it has a boot....
