Looking good for a fine day out. Did Mike try out the acoustics of the amphitheatre... not that he needs to?

Seems as good a place as any to post a big thank you to everyone for a fabulous weekend! And especially to MJ, Neil and Mike for their organisational efforts.

Thoroughly enjoyed by all the family.

Minor hiccup with the drone crash, but nothing the handily placed tree surgeon couldn't solve

Just got home and unloaded the car.

Few quick pics here.

Lands End

Minack Theatre

Winner of best D4 (out of 2)

The evening entertainment

Hotel car park

Eden Project

And finally back home on the drive!

Full set of unedited pics/vids here for Bert to play with (and anyone else to nose at) https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...ix?usp=sharing
Drone vid is poor as I was rushing as jobsworth was giving us grief

Great photos And I agree, it was a fantastic weekend.

Really nice to see every one again and the venues were brilliant .... Well worth the 9.5hr+ drive down in heavy rain!

(Thankfully the drive back was much better, at a little less than 7 hours).

Thanks to MJ and all those who helped to organise the weekend

I didn't have the problems that Mark & Lynn had on the way down and the return was done in under five hours from the Eden. OK I did split the journey witha halt at Wellington but what a journey from there, left at 18:00 and home at 21:08, unbelievable, not one hold up, slowed to about 60 as I M5 to M6 transitioned.
Agrree with other comments, brilliant, well organised, thanks guys but we must also remember David. We wouldn't be here without his support.
Oh and my secret squirrel surprise fell a bit short, a few new what I was bringing. AND I only got a second in the D4 section, and that was guaranteed. I did kick the noggy one when nobody was watching.

After staying in Dover for night Sebastian and I took the ferry to Dunkirque at 06.00 a.m. Monday morning.
After a short stop of 1,5h at Todt - Batterie near Calais and a break in the Eifel we went directly to Frankfurt, were we arrived at 7.00. p.m. without any hardships.

Thank you for the organization of this great event and your friendly welcome.
I hope I can join your meeting in 2020 also.

Best regards
Stefan

As always, a fantastic experience. A massive thanks to Michaela, Mike and Neil for organising the meet, and for any others that were involved. A big thanks to David at A8parts (and all the staff there) for giving us the platform on which we spend many a hour, and finally to all those who turned up on the day, without whom the meet wouldn't exist.

Left Penmere Manor around 9:00am and finally arrived home at 2:55am this morning, with a single stop in Brecon to refuel. Will post photos once I look at them and get them resized.

We'd like to 100% echo that, having just got back after an extra couple of days/nights in Falmouth.

Lovely weather today, typically 9C on the way home. So much for flaming June!

Did spot this boring A8 yesterday on Cliff Road above Castle Beach then took the short train ride from the docks up to Penmere to get back to the hotel.
