Its a non-OEM switch fitted into a large (OEM) switch blank. What it controls will need some system tracing behind the dash.

Yep, definitely non-OEM.

Probably not even part of some after-market kit. It's a commonly available switch that you can buy from the likes of Maplin, Farnell, RS, etc.

Passenger ejector seat maybe?

Hopefully not an ejector seat ...... well, not unless the Mother-in-Law is traveling!

The only thing I can think of is there is a Nokia Hands Free - Bluetooth Kit fitted?

It's likely to be for one of two things.

Either turning something on, or possibly turning something off.

There, my work here is done.

Sorry, no idea, but nice car choice!

It could be anything. I fitted a similar dash switch (not on my '8!) to provide a switchable supply from an "always on" supply point to a DABradio/CD/DVD/Satnav player so that it could be used when the ignition was off.

I have a DB5 just like that, with the pop-up bullet shield, ejector seat, etc. Not a full size one unfortunately. It's in my large collection of toy cars that I've had since I was a kid. Got the Lotus Esprit and a few others too.

Have to admit, not all of my toy car collection would make the 'cool wall' though. For some reason there's also a Noddy and Big Ears car like this in there too.

Speaking of which, I think we should start a toy car thread .... compare what we all have

.... Or am I the only one here who still has his toy cars?
