So, where are the photos?

Did Marcin make it despite his oil leak?

No David, I didn't make this one and I'm really really gutted
Most of you will just say its not a big thing but the fact is that oil leaks don't get smaller and I just didn't want that leak to just escalate to a serious leak, I would rather not to take the risk of loosing a litres of oil per whatever miles if it got worst or having oil all over the engine bay.

Gutted and will feel this way probably for next few days as I was really looking forward to meeting everyone, old and new members finally in person, but looks like I will have to wait till the next one.

Neil grabbed some photos, but the weather was terrible. The car park was partially flooded and the rain only really stopped once it got dark.

Thanks to all who managed to get there yesterday the final count was 8 Cars -

D2's -
Architex_mA8tey
Goran
HP Sauce

D3's -
Mannyo
Daviesbike
Audifin
Borys
Oli18

But as as been said the weather was grim to say the least!
We dug in at the Fairmile and watched the Grand Prix then went outside to talk more car bollox and have an ogle of all the gathered aluminium.

I waved goodbye to the amazingly sounding D3 exhaust I mentioned in another thread, which is now on Borys's D3 and sounding as awesome as ever! (even driving in the rain I'm sure that he drove home with a smile on his face). Daviesbike was kept busy vag-comming various features onto a few D3's

Photos to follow shortly (very wet photos lol). . . .

Is that the first meet where D3s have outnumbered D2s?

I think they were also outnumbered at AITP this year Jim, though someone will correct me if I'm wrong. That day was a washout as well, despite it being August. There'd have been another D3 if mine hadn't been off the road at the time

There were three of each and I believe Darren made it 4 D3's when I wasn't there.

D2's - Neil, Mike and Andy

D3's - Mattylondon, BI7NKA, Darren and roberto

That's correct, and a few non forum members joined us. Plus Don (I think??) with a lowered black D3 was elsewhere on site.
