Right well I think we will run with the following -
MEETING VENUE Fairmile Arms, Portsmouth Road, Cobham - chef & brewer pub with large car park adjacent to a premier inn. I am also back at home now, from my first meet with the A8parts forum. I think I am a little sunburnt as well.
Been good to finally put some faces to names after all these months. Richardracer, that S8 V10 has a great sound as you set off down the sliproad to the A3.

Well I cant say the M25 was much fun either arriving or departing, seemed very busy but the Fairmile was a great venue and the sun was shining down upon the gathered aluminium!
Thanks to all that came, for the first time ever the S8s were outnumbered by the 3.7's!! WORLD 3.7 DOMINATIONNNNN muah haa haaaaaa  Good to see everyone who made it and thanks for coming along. It was good to meet Richardracer and Mannyo for the first time, I hope the first of many - and a special thanks to Oli who practically came straight off a flight from the US, went home washed his car and then came straight over! Meet
Guys this was lovely afternoon and my first day out in the s8 after 3 weeks. And i have to say I enjoyed every minute of the driving.
After 6 months of constant s8 driving I had stopped appreciating the comfort and power of this special car. However, for the last 3 weeks I have been driving a vw Bora, which in all honesty isnt bad considering it has full leather interior and a v5 engine. But today I realised the difference the s8 makes especially with added visibility of the xenon lights. I even shared a cat and mouse moment with audi r8 coming up from banbury to the coventry turn off...would love to have to raced it from 100 upwards....but to be honest I would have had no chance as at one point the r8 roared passed me while I was cruising at 95.....I so wished I had two extra turbos and miltek exhaust at the moment.... It was great meeting everyone.
