Very handy that they do three different grades in the front bushes which will likely be road, fast road, and track grades. 95 hardness is almost solid.

I could see the 75 version being a useful way to extend the lifespan of good quality control arms, as usually the rubber fails well before the balljoint. If memory serves, the 100K Meyle set I took off Jim's FE all still had good balljoints, but the bushes were worn out. Thats diametrically opposed to the nasty Chinesium arms where the balljoints last months, not years. A set of the 75 poly for £200 would need the balljoints to last another 3-4 years at least to justify the costs on those grounds.

For a fun fast-road car though (manual gearbox essential to justify that title), a set of poly all round, potentially with 85 in the control arms could be a worthwhile upgrade

Is this not the rear subframe bushing?

Looks like they offer a decent amount of stuff for D2s...

Looks like it, plus poly for the rear control arms too which is very handy.

Nice find! I eventually want to upgrade to these bushings but it'll be a long while before I can afford to buy them. Probably will happen next year.

Imho it would be a downgrade but at 1/2 the cost could be worth it.

Why would it be a down grade? I thought polyurethane bushings are stiffer then stock? So that should help tighten up the handling?

Its potentially an upgrade for handling and a downgrade for ride comfort so it depends on your perspective.

Exactly!

Also I've had them fitted in an octavia once, I did about 120-200 miles a day in it for work and the grease would dry up causing the whole suspension to squeak like some old barn door, and they were the expensive powerflex ones so every 6 months I had to go to a mechanic for him to re-grease them.

One of the people at the facebook group has actually bought them and is installing. I'll keep this thread updated if any more info comes out.
