They look good. The First RX8 wheel above is also black sparkle. A really nice finish.

You pays your money and you takes your choice....

Now I know £20 a corner is dirt cheap (I've paid around £300 for 4x20" wheels), but I would still expect the colour I'd asked for!

When I dropped my wheels off at the powdercoaters they showed the Matt finish to me and I asked how it was done and it's a Matt laquer over a shiny powder coat and when he showed me the base colour before it was matted it was significantly a different shade so it maybe that that's gave the look you have.

It was a look that I didn't much like tbh and think they would be a mare to clean.

Hope you get to like yours

I think they look alright. For 20 notes a corner i wouldn't worry about it, run it for 6 months and have them done again.

Edit: Just realised i was looking a Anars wheels.

The colour on our A6 is 'premium' at 30 notes a corner but that's what missus wanted and they do look better in flesh, pictures just does not do justice. It's black base colour with shiny flakes which make them look between silver and black with different shades of grey depending on light and angle and even sparkle in bright sunlight.

They did have issue with it bubbling first time so it took them 2 extra days but they did offer me £20 off as a good will for extra waiting time.

They were very good about it to be fair and most apologetic.

They offered to re-do them of course, and refund 50%, but instead I decided to put the grey ones on my winter rubber so they swapped them over there and then. They're now doing the wheels which were on the car, and will post those to me next week, by which time my summer tyres will have arrived.
