Default gas for d2 2000 model

hello to all, i am living abroad so i use my car 2 months a year. it is in a garage with the battery disconnected. next time i am home i was thinking of installing a gas kit to spend less money while driving the beast during rush hour in the city centre. any tips? pros and cons? btw if anyone speaks to ben, please pass on my regards from DIONYSIOS. he is a great guy, i appreciate his help and good character.

If you only use it 2 months a year it will take you lot of years to save enough on fuel to get back what you pay for LPG installation

Gas availability in most of those countries listed is very patchy at best, there are certainly very few stations, if any selling it in Spain and Portugal for example. France, yes should be no problem.

spain ...now legal for out of town filling stations to sell it , and improving rapidly
portugal ...sufficient pumps to be comfortable

if you google you will find locations for the above 2 countries

france/italy ...no problem

albania greece ...no recent knowledge

if you are talking about installing the kit yourself , am not sure it is a DIY job on an A8...you are looking at £2K for a professional installation

have a look at lpgforum.co.uk ..in particular rossko from blazegas is a whiz [ even if his speciality is landie products !] and could advise if you contact him
