I was told of another way if anyone can confirm this. Fl model you can just grab wood surround at the bottom, nr ashtray. As its just clipped on, this will so say show me the screws/torx either side to pull unit out. This correct? http://www.audipages.com/Tech_Articl...im_removal.pdf but is this right? ----------------------------------------------------------- Found 2 torx's either after taking off tunnel panels. Undone them a little and seem they would make it the whole centre lose up to air vents. I cant wait till steve comes home, but yet scared i will break somthing, or take things off that dont need to be. Ive looked at a few units on ebay to see where there mounted, doea look like they might behind that wood trim surrounding it. All i want to do, is first pull the plug at back of it out, so i can put the fuse back in, see if the fan starts up, without climate unit plugged in. If fan dont come on it must be the unit at fault. If not, back to the drawing board.
