Ok to powder coat anti roll bar?
Is it ok to powder coat the anti roll bars given that heat treatment will be needed to cure the coating. I am concerned about the heat annealing the steel.

I think it's safe, powder coating only uses 180-200C, steel annealing is 300-700C

I'd expect powder to crack on something that has twisting motion. Nylon coat might be better

I checked with my powder coating specialist - he says its fine. Lots of aftermarket bars are powder coated from new, and re-coating factory parts is quite common
I'll take him a set to see what he can do with them |
