Default Office car park

Don't you just love office car parks?

Every day I park in roughly the same "end of row" space in the office car park. I do this believing that it cuts down the risk of being dinged by a carelessly opened door.

I was called to the car park a couple of days ago by a colleague only to be confronted by...

Luckily? there was no damage whatsoever. The unmanned red cavalier had rolled about 20 feet at a very slow speed into the side of my A8. Several people saw it happen, though the owner was oblivious until called at his desk. Handbrake not fully applied, plus slight slope = elevated blood pressure for me!

Lucky, or what?

Regards,
John

Yep. Could have been worse. Why don't people leave their cars in gear. Just in case

The Office where I tend to have to park a few days a week is so congested that there are 2 lines of cars parked in the middle so no chance of getting out without a lot of folks coming out and moving.

The Traffic Wardens regularly come round and book everyone on the double yellows near the Main road and even those on the grass a full pavement width away from the lines!

All this moving takes time and sometimes finding someone in a meeting or whatever takes time and that can make you late for an appointment elsewhere.

Folks park and go off to other nearby offices so then no chance of finding them!
The Receptionist tries her best to stop guys doing that but she's only little.....

Might take a pic tomorrow but Sod's Law says it'll stay nice and clear all day!

You took it well, I'd be like Mike looking for blood. Recently found a couple dudes leaning on the front wing of my car at work have a cig. Needless to say I gave them a right ear bashing, still half expecting Human Remains Manager to call me up...

I always get a good parking space at work, this one 90% of the time. (picture with my BMW parked in it) there is so much security, CCTV and security patrols it's more secure at work then anywhere else I'd say.
