Interior trim mismatch - is this normal?

Out of interest what colour interior did your Dark Myrtle trims come from?
A8parts have a set of Dark Myrtle trims but they're from a grey or platinum car and I'm not sure how it would look with cream. Also parts of the handles won't match my cream interior without a bit of work.

Edit: I've decided to go for it and ordered the full set from A8parts at "forum members price" but in Vavona and from a cream car so no matching problems.

My full set of Vavona (the orange-brown) "wood" trims arrived this morning and I've fitted the door pull ones with the window switches - all in and working and much better than the plastic ones.

The only question now is whether to go any further. e.g. the door top strips, or just complete the rear seat area? I don't particularly want to do the whole lot. The contrasting "wood" isn't a problem for me as it is now.

So I sat in the back and "contemplated" the colours, which I'm happy with as they are now. The sensible options seem to be:
1. Leave as now - mostly mid-brown (see pictures above) with just the switch panels in the brighter Vavona.
2. Finish off the rear seat area by putting the Vavona trims on the top of each rear door and the small trim around the seat heater controls in the centre.
3. Extend option 2 to the trims on the front doors, but not the extensions to those that go onto the dash (short on the drivers side and long above the glovebox).
4. As 3 but also do the 2 trims on the dashboard missed out in 3 as it would look better. It appears to be difficult to do these . Leave all the centre console alone though.
5. Do it all. Bit of a mission but I reckon it could look nicer than the current mid-brown against the cream background.

What do y'all think?

Not sure, but if A8 parts have myrtle trim with platinum I'm tempted to try them in my car!

I'd probably leave yours with just the switch surrounds done - most people who care will know those trims never matched the rest of the car anyway, whereas going further may draw the eye more to the potential variety of pattern

Mine came from a platinum interior, but A8 Parts don't have any myrtle door inserts, their dark myrtle trim came from a car with plastic inserts

They did have and I bought it, but it turned out to be incomplete (missing one door switch panel I think). That's how I ended up with Vavona, which I'm equally happy with.

I know I've confused myself over the colour of my wood trim in the past but pretty sure it's Myrtle. Think that grey-ish colour might be what comes with Myrtle?
