Transmission Casing Diagrams
Hi,
I was wondering if someone could send me some diagrams? I am working behind the cup that the front driveshaft bolts into. I have removed the cup and I am looking to remove the casing. I believe that all I need to do is remove the bolts most outer on the casing shown in the following picture:  I am wanting to look at an exploded diagram first before doing this and make sure that it is going to come apart how I think it is. The car is a 96 4.2 D2 Thanks Andrew

Andrew,
What is it your trying to do? If it's the output seal change then you don't need to remove the casing. This may be of some use.

Sold on. 1998 1.8T A4 Avant FWD. Ming Blue (there's a theme here), PEX for the 97 S8. And a list of non VAG going back 40 years before I saw the light.
