Default I'm Double Glazed!

Well, thanks to the nice folk at A8 Parts, I now have a double-glazed 2.8! It's lovely and quiet. We had a couple of hic-cups because mine has blue tinted glass (most are brown, apparently) so Dave had to scour his stock for the right coloured glass and was very careful to make sure all windows were unscratched and clear (you can get moisture beween the panes, he says, that makes them slightly opaque).

But I'm very pleased with the result (having tested it perhaps just a little over the speed limit and didn't even have to turn the radio up!) and, yet again, I'm astonished at how helpful, courteous and professional the guys at A8 Parts are.

THANKS DAVE AND TEAM!

Wafting along in double glazed comfort - at least when you get cold called by a double glazing company you can say in all honesty that you've just had it fitted!

Thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated.... Thanks too for you patience, it did take us a little longer than first thought

As a 2.8 owner, I'd be eternally grateful if you've got any fuel usage data you could share with us as everyone so far has thirsty 4.2 lumps !

It's still pretty thirsty. Overall the computer says I get 25.8 mpg and that's pretty constant. I'll clock it next time I fill up and try adding data to your spreadsheet
