Hi-Fi is such a subjective thing, wife wants small and unseen, so we have a couple of Bose Soundlink Mini's dotted around (don't even go there on the fact that one could be moved between rooms...)

Personally, my Technics system is in the gym with all my CDs and when I want excellent music to myself I put on my Bowers and Wilkins P7's and run DSD FLAC files from my FiiO XII via a FiiO E12A Mont Blanc... then I get left alone!

Making a comeback as a Spotify style music streaming service it appears!
Brand engineering like MG I expect and nothing to do with the original!

2009 Volvo XC90 V8 R Design
- has a louder more obnoxious exhaust than the S8, sounds great! Love this thing - Q7 was double the price, and certainly not double the car!

Sold:
1997 Audi A4
- Hamilton's Club Sport, Achat Grey (will miss the old girl)

It started to go down the legitimate route over a decade ago, its never really taken off other than in the US though, spotify wipes the floor with them, apple music and amazon music IMO. they really have the model right and are now cutting out labels to go direct to artists who are unsigned/self distributed.

The only other service that can hold a candle to it is Bandcamp, and you can download native FLAC files there as well as stream

Default 2 Spotify "numbers"

A) 168,747 - the average employee salary (in $), https://www.digitalmusicnews.com/201...tify-employee/

and....

B) 41.8 : the price paid ($ Billion) by Microsoft to acquire them (https://www.digitalmusicnews.com/201...tion-billions/)

Now there's a business idea I wish I'd had...

Nah that's a wireless speaker, this is what I have

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pure-Jongo-.../dp/B00CGYN47O

thinks it does the same as your Gramofon stuff, I also have a standalone wireless speaker which runs of inbuilt battery or mains which can be moved to any room as required

When I want to hear music outside I just open the patio doors and turn the speaker around

...and possibly accompanied by a wee glass of something - based on that photo - maybe to both enhance your aural experience and to help ignore the lack of proper stereo separation
