Default Wanted: Audi 2001 S8 Discs and Pads Wanted

Hi all

I think I'll start my time with the S8 by treating it to a set of discs and pads on each corner. They are Brembo, by all accounts. Can anyone suggest the best place to get them from?

I can recommend http://www.allgermanparts.co.uk, they were very helpful when I was looking brakes on my S4.

Try a few places - e.g. nextdaybrakes.com. The front calipers are Brembo but the rears are Lucas. Brembo will provide discs for the front (345x35mm) and rear (280x22mm) as well as pads for both though.

Brembo Part numbers are:

Front discs: 09.7941.11
Rear discs: 09.7196.10/11
Front pads: P85 053
Rear pads: P85 020

http://www.bremboparts.com/europe/en...ro/000012259-1

Edit: having gone to the site today they seem to have stopped providing the discs!

Eurocarparts now stock Brembo brakes

Failing that, TPS?

That's useful - thanks. I had a 45% off voucher for GSF, but they neither stock them, nor were to prepared to stock them. Nothing on ebay either.

http://www.murraysdirect.co.uk/ often are competitive for brake parts.

I would recommend Zimmermann Coat Z discs for their good rust resistance. They do drilled/grooved discs for many applications as well if that's your thing. When I bought mine best deals were on e-bay.de

i've previously found some good prices on genuineautocar parts and have ordered some genuine parts for my 911 cheaper than main dealer.

You might want to check part numbers
