I do love these, but I wish there were a few more options. I think a brushed steel/aluminium finish would be less effected by water drops than the polished chrome.

I'd also love some model specific logos. The 'S8' logo would look awesome on one of these if the red box was done right.

Please don't take me the wrong way but they look as cheap as the price is.
One design which fits all the cars, almost, the only difference is the writing.
Fact that they are stick on as well is just not right and it may suit much newer cars where owners don't pay too much attention to detail/suitability of the product, not very OEM looking either.

Finish is ok from distance, but for this price I dont think it will stay like that for a long time.
Just to compare, the all electronic gear which we got directly from one of the two main and believe only two suppliers in UK, costs more that the Romanian/Aliexpress whole set. That is to avoid what Audi even didn't get right.
We used highest grade stainless steel which in ver.1 had a clear resin coating and in ver.2 this will be improved with a different product giving even smoother and clear finish.
Actually just highest grade steel per car inc. cutting costs more then them Ali sills.

What we have done, and we are on it each week since November last year, is something what looks almost like OEM, but thanks to months spent on designing, testing different products/gear/materials and fair amount of cash along, sills offering amazing bright glow not a sharp LED style light, all that surrounded by quality materials which will last loooong time.

Night shots were taken with a mobile phone camera so they don't offer great quality and glow looks much brighter than it is.

There is no limits when it comes to writing or colours, even red S and white 8, it can even say your name or Welcome to the temple of German engineering

Guy mentioned putting fibre optics in his roof lining and now I cannot find that thread. I did say that I would try and locate a photo of what i did a few years back on a party bus.
I'll put it here (not hijacking this thread) so you can see another effect

Yup, no arguing about that - the OEM look is 10x better.

It's a shame they're not more readily available. Even more so that they weren't more widely standard fitment.

Don't worry Tony, Our versions will be going in to production soon as we've perfected them.

They should have used LEDs too, rather than those inverters and cathode ray tubes or whatever it is.
