Where abouts are you in the country James? And how much did you pay?

Hi I'm English and so is the car however both in Bucharest, Romania it was about 300 Quid all in and the majority of that was fluids however well worth it for piece of mind that the gear box isn't about to pack up.

The "honking" got progressively worse and can now report its completely fixed no honking and silky smooth.

So the car is finally in for its gearbox oil change. Im also having the OS inlet manifold taken off so an independant assessor can see it and hopefully pay out for a new one, new fuel filter, oil change and maybe some new brakes. fingers crossed for the manifold.
