I'm not 100% sure.
I've not had the chance to study both lights.

I suspect the AFSII lights would have a larger gap to allow the lens to move.

If the car is complete you can set it to Showroom mode and the lights will move when the car is not moving.

EDIT: I can take some pictures of my lights for you.

You still need to turn the steering wheel to get them to move though in showroom mode

There is a post on Detailing world about adding the LED DRLs from a none AFSII light to a AFSII with out LED DRLs.
Might be of use.

can some one tell me the Part number for the AFSII and also what on earth the Abreviation means ?

I will check tomorrow and see what my part numbers are you see .. i know i have the choice of 2009 non LED DRL but may be ASFII system and also a DRL W12 set but to be honest im leaning towards the ASFII system and il just stick a Cree bulb in and Bridge the Wires ect and have the same affect as the W12 only Brighter

PRetty sure audiforums.us has a few threads on headlight swaps. Some need a bit of fiddling with the wiring, some are plug and play. I think it depends on what you had to start with.
