Default 4.2tdi

Hi guys and girls. Loving the 8 had it over a month now. Just wanted some guidance. The car has been serviced yearly by previous owner with non audi parts. Planning to get it serviced by audi tech with all original parts in the very near future. Do these cars have EGR valves etc that need cleaning as my one is on 117k at present. Is there anything I should do that the service does not pick up? I know about gearbox service that is on my list already.
Brake fluid?
Coolant?
Thermostat?

Cheers guys.

Brake fluid - change every 2 years on any car
Coolant - not sure on 4.2TDI but it ranges from 2 years to lifetime, usually 2 years are for high performance engines with higher thermal stresses. If it's drained for some reason it usually gets filled with new coolant.
Thermostat - Normally changed when it's either faulty or if you are doing other work near it and it makes sense to combine jobs and do it at the same time as preventative. I think it's not too bad to change it in 4.2TDI.
