Coilovers on an A8/S8?
Hey guys,
I'm really tempted to pick up some KW coilovers. Have any of you had experience of running coilovers or been in a car running them on a D2? How are they; firm but ok or just too much to live with daily? I had them on a mk3 golf years ago and they seemed OK, but nostalgia paints things as a pretty picture in my mind  now I'm not in my early 20's I'm worried I'd get ****ed off after a few days.Any feedback welcome. When I first went to see my D2 before I bought it, it had coilovers on. I had the option of having the car returned to standard suspension - which I took. IMHO, the ride was far too firm for daily use and, in fact, it was really only used as a show car by the previous owner.

Current mods: solar sun roof, 20mm rear spacers, 15 mm on front, red brembo callipers, 6k headlights, rear view camera, engine remap, alloy dash dial rings, alloy navi rings, tt/phaeton pedal upgrade, (and custom matching foot rest) dension ipod interface & parrot hands free kit (both fully hidden), av input, tv in motion switched thro' PF switch in blanking plug right of steering column, Audi 'quattro' sill covers, repositioned centre console switches, radio clock, .Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).

Mine is on coilovers but its not the main car I use every day, that said I have been to both Scotland and Germany meets with the car and its hard but not unbearable. The D2 Sport Recaros make a huge difference
