That area where I fixed the reverse module is not the factory location, it should be further forward just behind the seat but same side of the car, in order to get access to it you need to remove the trim from left side

Well that was a pain in the ........
Ok so going on vcds that the module is kaput I have finally got it removed.
I have it on good authority from the neighbour that seeing me sat in the spare wheel well is hilarious...... was tempted to shove a screwdriver up his nose as I think that would be quite funny after getting that left side trim Out!
Now to try and get a second hand unit, one theif on eBay wants £250!!
Think il be going stateside as the are cheaper....

did you have any issue with component protection?
I dont mind ordering a second hand unit but I dont then want to have to go to the main dealer for it to be unlocked to my motor.

Second hand unit arrived and now i have picture back!
They even sent the brackets with it so no hassle swapping over 👍

Default Old Thread revival

Hi guys,

Didn’t want to start a new thread but my reverse camera hasn’t worked since I bought the car but when I refitted the (factory) DVB tuner I now get the guide lines but it puts the over the top of my DVB picture? where should I start my investigations? I’ll get some pics up soon
