Lower door trims
Does anyone know how to remove the external lower door trims? My wife managed to catch a low wall and they could do with a repaint.
Cheers... |

If they are anything like the S4 you should remove the rear plastic trims off each door and then they should just slide out easily - in London, car is in Northampton so can't check but the S4 was easy and my 1997 Audi cabriolet had the same style so seems to be an "audi thing"

I could be wrong but I've a feeling bolts 2 & 4 are only accessible by removing the door cars and the window mechanism

Old thread but my pass rear trim could do with replacement as previous owner had it repaired poorly by the looks. Is this removal by removing door card?
Cheers

No door card removal. It's two screws at the base on the inside of the door, then slide to one side to free it from the door.
