Another random cable.
Giving the boot a quick clean and noticed this cable.
  I'll take a look for a guide how to remove the boot sides and the seat backs and trace it but in the mean time, anyone know what it is?

Whatever it is its not factory fitted, I have seen others running the video lead to the head unit if tv or reverse camera has been retrofitted.
Its most likely running to the inside of car so pull up the rear seat bench and look for it there.

I lifted up the base of the rear seat and can't see anything out of the ordinary.
Time to remove the back panel thingy.

have you got a tow bar? could it be additional wiring for that running through to the front or perhaps av cables through to front under armrest area?

All the tow bar wiring is in and around the battery.
Its all standard Audi cabling running under the seats in the loom tape. The only unknown is the cable going to the arm rest and the arm rest don't light up. I've been out, stripped the boot, put it all back together better than before and found out what the cable is or should I say pipe. Removed the seat backing and dug the URO (Unidentified Random Object) out.   Still no closer, I stripped some more of the boot out till it was all out.  This helped trace the URO from the left.   To the right   It looks like a air line to the suspension strut that might have been replaced and cut a little bit short? While I was rebuilding the boot bits I noticed a couple of things raised some more questions that's nothing more than my own curiosity. This is the bose Sub.  But what is the whole next to it for?  There is also vent holes in the roof lining that match up to this whole. Part of me thinks its something to do with B&O. Also noticed that the sides had these odd extra flappy bits.  I thought it was something that's meant to go in to the sides to make it look a little better when the sides are open but they seem unusable and pointless. Last one (in this subject but I suspect I will have more questions possible just as simple). I noticed there was two holes cut out of the boot roof lining with a capped nut on the other side.  There is one of these on each side.  What they for?
